How the Giraffe Got it's Long Neck

This week we have been talking about Myths and Legends. We have learnt the story of how the giraffe got it's long neck and are preparing our own, similar stories.

We used story mapping to help us learn the story.

Practised some of the new sentence styles.

And then made plans for our writing next week...

Young Voices

Some of the children joined us last week to sing at Young Voices in the Genting Arena in Birmingham. After a lot of song and dance move learning, we all had an amazing day and are already looking forward to next year!
