Fun at the Bazaar

Well done to all the class for their super Bazaar stalls. We raised over £1500 as a school and consumed enough sweets to last a lifetime!

We have finished our DT project for this term. Look at the super cereal boxes the children designed!

We have been using the things we have learnt about newspaper reports to write about the Curse of Tutankhamen's tomb. Creepy stuff!

Banana Mummification- Part 2

This week we have been experimenting to discover which magnets are the strongest. We tested this to see how many paper clips each one would hold.

Christchurch Trip

I'm sure you've all been hearing lots about our trip to Christchurch today to learn all about how Christians celebrate Christmas. We learn't about what happens during advent, what the wise men and shepherds did on their journey, the story of Mary and Joseph, and many other things.

Mummifying Bananas - Part 1

Today we started the process of mummification on our 'pharaohs'. We are using our iPads to document the process for our work next week

Step 1
Wash the body




Step 2
Use a hook to scoop out the brains



Step 3
Make a cut down the side and remove the organs



Step 4
Put the important organs in canopic jars



Step 5
Fill the body with salt and leave for 40 days
